From the 1st August 2007 the Government have changed the way homes are bought and sold. The new HIP system will initially apply to four bedroom properties then on the 10th September 2007 three bedroom properties with all other property types being phased in.

The changes are designed to make the home moving process more transparent, more efficient and more certain.

What will the pack contain?

• An Index
• An Energy Performance Certificate
• A Sale Statement - describing the property being sold
• Evidence of Title - official copies of Registered Title or copies of the Deeds
• The Local Authority, Water and Drainage Searches
• New Homes Warranties (where applicable)
